60W COB Solar Street Lighting KIT

Our Solar Powered Single Chip LED Street Light uses solid state / light emitting diode (LED) light source, Self sustained and powered by Solar energy and Battery Back-up, Comes complete with all the components, wiring, and hardware to install the lamp. This lamp includes a 12 VDC electronic dimming driver Hot dipped Galvanized steel/powder coated housing, arm and LED Head.

This Series is an energy efficient lighting system, designed to provide ample lighting for medium sized to large areas such as roadways, This 600 watt lamp Head LED Solar Power lamp kit is ideal for any off grid project. The energy savings are tremendous when considering either a complete off grid or partially off grid project. The recommended mounting height for this unit is between 20'-30. Up to 15 years Maintenance free operation. The lamp head is attached to a support arm that fixes to an existing pole. The system is supplied with a metal lockable battery box which is installed at the bottom of the pole, and houses the supplied 12 volt rechargeable batteriy A 100 watt solar panel is supplied with the kit, which is mounted on the top of the existing pole. The system is controlled by a programmable control module which is housed inside the battery box. The light will comes on automatically at sunset and will stay illuminated until the set amount of time.

The module can be set to run dusk till dawn, or run for a set number of hours after sunset (from 1 to 12 hours). Standard color of light fitting is silver/grey or white. Illumination time is up to 12 hours or more, generally dusk to dawn. Typical dusk to dawn illumination. Battery

12v DC systems use one 12v sealed lead acid, AGM or GEL type rechargeable batteries. Battery capacity is 100 Amp/Hour (each battery). Typical battery life is approximately 3-4 years subject to environmental factors. Over charge and over discharge protection system. Each battery charge voltage is programmed to 16.9 v. DC. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge. Periodic charging is always recommended when a product is not being used or when the solar panel is disconnected.

Structure and Arm

Hot dipped Galvanized steel lockable battery box will accommodate the rechargeable battery. Supplied with hardware to enable it to clamp around the pole and be positioned almost anywhere on the pole. Silver/gray or White  color finish.Galvanized steel support arm to accommodate the lamp unit (light head). Can be ordered for retro-fitting to an existing pole or post. Wall mount bracket is available by special order.

Control Moduale

This system includes a programmable control module and regulates and manages the solar panel power, battery power and illumination timer. The compact control module has LED indicators to display status, input connections for solar panel and batteries and output connections for the lamp. Push button programming. Accepts and controls GEL, AGM and sealed lead acid type (VRLA) batteries. Low voltage disconnect regulated by state of charge or voltage. Detects daytime and night time conditions via the solar panel. Automatic adaption to ambient temperature conditions. Safety features for short circuit and reverse polarity protection of battery and lamp inputs. Automatic voltage recognition.

Solar Panel

Highly efficient Monocrystalline solar panel. Aluminum frame with anti-aging and encapsulated. Low reflecting tempered glass. Supplied with a 100 Watt solar panel. The 100w solar panel is rated at 34v / 3A. Typical solar panel life is approximately 20-30 years subject to environmental factors.
